File Management System

An electronic file management system electronic file management system is a softwar/web based  program that manages the creation, storage and control of files electronically. The primary function of an ELECTRONIC FILE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is to manage electronic information within an organization’s workflow. Roles & Responsibility. Establish the roles and responsibilities of groups and individuals in terms of electronic records management.
User Management.User can register themselves by choosing single or multiple workspaces. Authorised users will be able to login to the system and work with their selected workspace files.
Security control. This function controls which users have access to specific information. Any system that you use must be able to protect confidential records.
Addition, designation, and version control. The  ELECTRONIC FILE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM should allow users to add documents to the system and designate a document as an official record. It should also automatically assign the correct version designation.
Upload Files. This feature allows user and administrator to upload single and multiple files at the same time.
Moving files  & Folders. This feature allows users to move Single or Multiple files from one folder to another with very easy to use interface and few clicks.
Storage. This function will allow you to store documents within the ELECTRONIC FILE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM or to centrally manage your adjunct storage system.
Free-text search. This function allows users to  search every word in the entire document or a specified group of documents.
Calender.calendar allows workspace members to register their future events or taks in advance which helps organize the tasks in better way.
Task Tracking.An authorize user can initiate a workflow task for any document, It allows to choose list of members and sequence them to route the documents for their reviews and comments in organized manner. This will eliminate need to use email to forward documents for reviews of others.
Data Export. It allows to create compressed file (zip) of a whole folder . This will make it easy to backup files or burn them on CD or external media.
Manage Comments: It allows users to put comments on files. It will actually act like a blog where you can put express your views on the content of files.
